Roughly 10 minutes per look. Moves fast and is perfect for anyone who needs a lot of looks with less emphasis on direction. Background changes and variety still included for each look.

Booking HMU "By the Time" includes quick and light makeup changes throughout. Up to one hour is allotted for HMU at the beginning and then your shooting time will start.
MAKEUP
Makeup is highly recommended for both men & women. While some actors choose to arrive camera ready, we do have our incredibly skilled artists that are available to book for a separate fee. There are differences between everyday makeup and photoshoot makeup and our artists know exactly how to make you pop with our lighting.
Please note- hiring our artists for makeup includes light hair-styling (ie going from straight hair to curled). In order to maximize shooting time, we request that you arrive with your hair ready for your first look and our artist will perfect it from there.
DEPOSIT
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your slot. This transfers over to the final cost of your session on the day of your shoot.
Retouching
Your images will look fantastic straight off camera, but retouching can help with the removal of stray hairs, blemishes, dark circles, etc.

Where are you located?
Our studio is located in Van Nuys, CA.
We shoot indoors, and lighting/backgrounds are completely controlled, so you never have to worry about the weather ruining your shoot! Our studio is air conditioned for your convenience. Please note that our building does not currently have an elevator. We are located on the second floor, so there's a small flight of steps to go up when you arrive for your session. We are happy to help carry wardrobe :)
What do I need to know about makeup?
Makeup is recommended for both men and women. While some actors choose to arrive camera ready, we do have our professional artists that are available to book for a separate fee. These artists work with us on a daily basis and know exactly how to deliver optimal results to make you POP with our lighting.
We ask that you arrive with your hair ready the way that you would wear it for the first look, and our artist can perfect it from there. They will also stay with you for the entire shoot for touch ups, fly-away maintenance for hair, and will make small changes between your looks to give you as much variety as possible! Please do not mistake the hair portion for a full salon hair appointment- arriving with your hair wet and/or undone will take away from your shooting time- and that's the last thing we want :) Remember, our artists specialize in MAKEUP.
We do understand that some people have their preferred artists. If so, we ask that you arrive to your shoot camera ready for your first look, and your artist is welcome to come with you to make small changes/touch ups.
When and how will I receive my shots?
You will receive a password protected gallery within 48 hours of your session. All of your shots are downloadable from there in High-Res. The gallery also allows you and/or your agent to pick out favorites from your session to help you narrow down.
What is your rescheduling policy?
We understand that things can and do come up- especially in our industry! Your deposit is good to transfer over to one reschedule with at least 7 days notice. For industry bookings that pop up sooner than this, we can make an exception with proof of booking (background/extra work not included). If you need to reschedule a second time, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book another date. We suggest that you treat the headshot session like a booking and alert your reps when accepting a date.
Your deposit can be held for up to one year.
What do I wear?
Wardrobe is an extremely important part in capturing three dimensional shots that stand out. You will receive a wardrobe lookbook upon booking to help you prepare for your shoot.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, and credit cards.
Are reshoots offered?
The short answer is no. You must arrive prepared and ready to roll. We will be showing you the shots as they are being captured on a monitor, so if you wish to change something (such as hair, makeup, or wardrobe), make sure to speak up and let us know AS we are shooting!
