Hair & Makeup
Makeup is recommended for both men & women. There are differences between everyday makeup and photoshoot makeup, and our artists know exactly how to make you pop with our lighting.
Please note- Hiring our artists for makeup includes lite hair styling (i.e. going from straight hair to curled). In order to maximize shooting time, we request that you arrive with your hair ready for your first look and our artist will perfect it from there.
Deposit
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your slot. This transfers over to the final cost of your session on the day of your shoot.
Retouching
Your images will look fantastic straight off camera, but retouching can help with the removal of stray hairs, blemishes, dark circles, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your studio located?
Our studio is in the Lake Balboa / Van Nuys area of Los Angeles. It is a fully climate controlled, second floor studio with professional lighting and backgrounds. Indoor shooting means we never have to worry about weather. Oh, and we have a parking lot with a reserved spot just for you!
*Please note- There is no elevator, but we're happy to help carry wardrobe if needed :)
When will I receive my images?
You'll receive a password protected gallery within 72 hours of your session. All images are downloadable in high resolution, and are licensed for standard usage as it pertains to your professional acting career (website, casting breakdowns, etc).
If you need commercial usage for products, advertisements, or otherwise, please let us know.
Online galleries are hosted complimentary for 30 days after your session and allow you (and your agent) to favorite selections and help narrow down your choices.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, and credit card.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit transfers to the final session cost due on the day of your shoot.
Make up artists are a third party and are paid separately on the day of your shoot.
What's your rescheduling policy?
Your deposit can transfer to one rescheduled date with at least 7 days notice.
For industry bookings that come up last minute, we can make exceptions with proof of booking (background and non-principle work not included). If you need to reschedule a second time, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required.
*Please note- If canceling or rescheduling within 48hrs of your shoot, all attempts will be made to fill your slot. In the event it cannot be filled, the rate for makeup (if booked) will be due to the artist in order to select a new date. This is because the makeup artists we use are 3rd party contractors who reject other work to reserve and hold your time slot.
What should I wear?
Wardrobe is critical to capturing three dimensional shots! You'll receive a look book upon booking that helps with your preparation.
That said, it's important that you communicate with your team (if represented) about the characters they see fit for you and what they'd like you to wear. The more prepared you are when arriving, the more shoot time we will have together.
If you need further assistance with your looks, we can also recommend incredible wardrobe stylists that help lock in exactly what you should wear for your shoot.
Do you offer reshoots?
No. We ask that you arrive prepared and ready to capture magic! We show you images live during the session, so if you want to adjust anything (hair, makeup, wardrobe), please speak up while we're shooting. That's always the best time to make changes, not after. Our goal is to get it right the first time, but it's a collaborative effort :)
How does makeup work?
Makeup is highly recommended for both men and women. After all, it's the first thing they do on set when you book a job!
That's because there's a difference between everyday makeup and makeup optimized for camera. When you book our artists, they stay with you throughout the session for quick touch-ups, hair changes, and adjustments between looks.
*Note- Please do not mistake the hair portion for a full salon hair appointment. Arriving with your hair wet and/or unstyled will take away from your shooting time, and that's the last thing we want. Remember, our artists specialize in makeup. Full blow-outs are not included.
Can I bring a pet?
We are doggy parents ourselves and love them more than anything! That said, we ask that they stay home for your shoot. We will definitely ask to see pictures though.
Do you offer trade-for-print or collaborations in exchange for shoutouts on social media?
We sadly can't. If we did, we wouldn't be able to keep our doors open. Please don't ask!
